Tiny Ninja is a fun mobile game in which you play a minuscule martial arts expert.
Tiny Ninja features a little character called Tiny (aptly), who always dreamed of learning the ninja arts. However, he was constantly rejected by the many sensei who refused to train him owing to his diminutive stature. Something changed though when one of the sensei had a dream in a forest that Tiny should become a ninja and now the adventure begins.
The first thing you'll notice about Tiny Ninja is that the gameplay is rather different to a standard platform game. Tiny is capable of moving by himself and he keeps walking until he meets with an object. It's your job to make sure he jumps the platforms, avoids the obstacles, and collects the ninja stars. You do this by pressing the 'Fire' button when Tiny walks over a blue action icon.
It's an interesting gaming concept, and Tiny Ninja is amusing for a while. However, I found that after a few minutes of gameplay things get pretty boring. It's quite repetitive and the lack of control you have over the character gets a bit frustrating, as does the fact you have to restart a level again if you die.
If you enjoy platform games, then Tiny Ninja is worth a try but this is certainly no Super Mario Bros.
